Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun or partial shade. Adaptable to most soil types, but does best in medium to dry, well drained soil. Provide regular watering the first year or two to establish. Deadheading will help promote continuing bloom through the summer. At the end of the season, leave spent flowers intact, as many birds will use the seeds as a food source through winter. In spring, cut spent material to the ground. May occasionally re-seed, but not invasive.
