This is a vigorous growing variety that has a more compact habit than others. It forms an upright mound of deep blue-green foliage. Deep indigo blue flowers adorn the plant from late sprin to early summer and are followed by decorative seed pods. Baptisia is a great choice for prairie gardens. A cross between Baptisia minor & B. australis.
