Gorgeous creeping or climbing vine that has large compound, palmate green leaves that are 6" long. They emerge a purple color and then mature to a deeper green and in the fall change to purple then to crimson-red. The flowers are not extremely showy, but give way to blue-black berries that are quite attractive to birds. Native to the eastern U.S.
