Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in moist, moderately fertile soil. Although perfectly shade tolerant, Ligularia can take some sun in reliably moist sites. In average yards, however, shade from hot afternoon sun to prevent wilting, especially in southern climates. Regular deep watering is required during the heat of summer. Avoid windy sites. Cut off spent flower stalks after blooming.
