This Heuchera forms a lovely mound of glossy, purple leaves with ruffled edges year-round. Short sprays of small purple-pink flowers appear in summer. 'Forever Purple' is a vigorous perennial with a sturdy habit, a great choice for borders, containers, rock gardens, and more. A top performer in several university trials. U.S. native.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Coral Bells prefer moist, well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil. Amend with compost before planting. They will take sun or partial shade, though afternoon shade is required in hot regions to prevent leaf scorch. In cold climates, mulch well, after the ground freezes. If the plants heave due to frost, carefully press back into place in spring. Heucheras generally need to be divided and replanted every 3 years, burying the woody rootstock and keeping the crowns above the soil surface.
