Homeowner Growing Tips

Plant in average to moist soil that drains well. Cut back to 8 inches after blooming. Pinch back early for a bushier plant. Slightly drought tolerant, for very short periods of time.

I got healthy plants but they did not thrive in my garden

I am giving 5 stars for the quality of plant I got. However, the extra humid weather, a ravenous army of rabbits and my refusal to apply fungicide did them in. If you have better luck with hollyhocks, this is a great place to buy from.
