  • Larger heart-shaped leaves
  • Improved heat tolerance

Large leaves and large stature, make this Brunnera a stand out in the garden. The silver foliaged plant has similar coloring to 'Looking Glass', but is much bigger and has better heat tolerance and leaf structure. This beauty absolutely glows in the shade garden!

Homeowner Growing Tips: An easy-care plant. Prefers shade & rich, moist soil. Some morning sun is fine in northern climates, if soil does not dry out. To protect the crown of the plant over winter, apply a mulch, and wait until the spring to cut back the leaves.

The Brunnera is a lovely accent plant that lends soft silver/white hues to a mostly green garden. Doing well under dwarf magnolia tree along with annuals and grasses. Quality is excellent; plants thriving with some neglect..

This is the second Sterling Silver Brunera I have bought, and in my opinion, it will probably take three--four years to haver a significant clump. But it is s very nice, distinguished looking plant.

These plants are bullet-proof. Great substance, resistant to just about everything, extremely attractive and space-filling. They look handsome in proximity to hosta, hellebore, goat's beard, joe aye weed, impatiens, etc.
