Ligularia przewalskii
(1)
Pot Size: 5.25 Inch Square Pot
A really huge Ligularia that would look amazing in the shady garden. Massive deep green leaves grow to be 16" wide when fully mature. Each divided leaf has a serrated margin around it for an eye-catching foliage appearance. Best performance in filtered shade or morning sun; heavy shade will reduce flowering.
Uses: Borders, Mass Planting, Cut Flower
Nature Attraction: Butterflies
Critter Resistance: Deer
Growth Habit: Upright, Mounding
Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in moist, moderately fertile soil. Although perfectly shade tolerant, Ligularia can take some sun in reliably moist sites. In average yards, however, shade from hot afternoon sun to prevent wilting, especially in southern climates. Regular deep watering is required during the heat of summer. Avoid windy sites.
