  • Tri-color flowers are wonderfully showy
  • Makes stunning bouquets
  • Very cold hardy

Amazing flowers have upright standard petals of periwinkle blue, while the lower falls have bright yellow centers and smoky purple edges. The foliage is long and grass-like, adding to the attractiveness of this plant and contrasting well with lower, mounding plants. A mass of these beauties in bloom looks like a flock of birds or butterflies in the garden! Great gift for a collector or new gardener.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Siberian Irises are low maintenance and adaptable to most garden conditions. Grow in full sun to partial shade. They prefer moist, well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soils. Amend with compost when planting. A light mulch may be used, if applied in a thin layer in spring. Fertilize with granular bulb food in early spring and after flowering; scratch into the top inch or two of the soil. Divide plants every three years, in early spring or late summer.
