Tomato 'Red Grape'

Tomato 'Red Grape' produces loads of Sweet and flavorful baby grape tomatoes. Long clusters of 20 or more bright red, crack-resistant tomatoes are produced by the plant. These cuties are smaller than cherry tomatoes but with thicker skin so they transport better.  Fruit is firm, juicy, and has a well-balanced flavor.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Plant tomato plants in well-drained soil and keep them well-watered but not soggy, watering at the soil level rather than with an overhead sprinkler as much as possible. Place a tomato cage over the plant when you first plant it to provide support, or use another trellising method. You may want to choose an organic fertilizer formulated specially for tomatoes. Sufficient calcium in the soil prevents Blossom End Rot, a common tomato ailment. You may also try the old Romence Gardens trick of placing a couple of Tums tablets in the soil to help with this.
