All of the original Lemon Boy's best features are present in Lemon Boy Plus, with additional extra flavor and disease resistance. This tomato has a distinctive golden hue and a tart, sweet flavor. Try using this one in salsas and salads to add bright color and wonderful taste to the mix.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Plant tomato plants in well-drained soil and keep them well-watered but not soggy, watering at the soil level rather than with an overhead sprinkler as much as possible. Place a tomato cage over the plant when you first plant it to provide support, or use another trellising method. You may want to choose an organic fertilizer formulated specially for tomatoes. Sufficient calcium in the soil prevents Blossom End Rot, a common tomato ailment. You may also want to try the old Romence Gardens trick of placing a couple of Tums tablets in the soil to help with this.
