  • Large, bright, showy red flowers with yellow centers
  • Fragrant, ferny foliage
  • Pest & disease resistant

Tanacetum 'Robinson's Red' is an adorable plant with scarlet, red daisy-like flowers with yellow centers. The ferny foliage adds an interesting effect to the landscape. Looks great when planted in large groupings, used as a border, or in containers. One of our most colorful perennials, and a great companion plant for vegetables to repel insect pests. Formerly known as Pyrethrum coccineum, Chrysanthemum coccineum.

Uses: Borders, Containers, Cottage Gardens, Cut Flower, Landscapes, Mass Planting, Rock Gardens
Nature Attraction: Butterflies
Critter Resistance: Deer, Rabbits
Notable Features: Fragrant Foliage, Excellent Cut Flower

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in full sun, or partial shade in hot southern climates, in well-drained, preferably sandy soil. Tolerant of many soil types, except wet & heavy soils. Cut back as flowers fade to encourage rebloom. Cut spent foliage to the ground in late winter. Divide in spring, if needed.
