Stachys byzantina 'Fuzzy Wuzzy'

A selection of the popular Lamb's Ear, 'Fuzzy Wuzzy' forms a dense carpet of soft, fuzzy leaves in a beautiful silver grey. It adds an interesting texture to rock gardens, containers, children's gardens and can make a lovely edging or small-scale groundcover as well. Tall stems bearing lavender flower spikes grow out from the cool base of foliage in early summer.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grows best in drier areas in well-drained soil. Can tolerate lean soil fertility, and will naturalize and spread where it is well-suited. Divide every 3-4 years, or more frequently if plants develop woody stems at the center. Rake in spring to remove dead foliage.
