This plant has a great upright and short habit, which means that it does not have to be staked. The fragrant flowers are a beautiful lavender-blue against the grey-green leaves. Perovskia atriplicifolia was named 1995 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year.

    Arrived as a strong healthy plant, Planted in a new north facing bed in poorly draining clay soil. Looks healthy and hopefully will come back next year.
