Macramé Class February 2nd:

Join Romence Gardens and Clay Tooth for a Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop in the greenhouse! You will learn all the basics of macramé and leave with a beautiful completed plant holder, along with a new plant to go in it! Grab a friend, meet new people, and learn a new and very popular skill that just might be the start of a new obsession!

This class is perfect for complete beginners to macramé. The skills may be something you’ll want to pass on to younger people, but for the purpose of this class we’ll be teaching anyone 15+.

About the Instructor:

Caroline, one of the managers at Romence Gardens, is the owner of Clay Tooth–a fledgling ceramic wares company. She learned macramé from her cousins as a kid, and since picking it up again in the last couple of years has found it to be an excellent compliment to her work in wheel-thrown clay. Both media allow her to create handmade homes for her many plant companions, bringing together three things she just can’t get enough of! You can view some of her macramé & ceramic planters hanging at The Sparrows Coffee + Tea + Newsstand on Wealthy Street.
