This fast grower has coarsely serrated, rich green leaves with great texture. Flowers are green cones that appear in late summer and have a pine-like fragrance that attracts butterflies. They also can be used as an unusual accent to flower arrangements.

The cones are commonly used in breweries to provide bitterness to many types of beer. They are high in alpha acid and have a strong herbal, woody/earthy aroma. 'Nugget' hops may be used as a bittering hop or to impart aroma later in the boil. Cheers!
