From late spring to midsummer, the delphinium 'Aurora Deep Purple' produces tall spires of royal purple, semi-double blooms. A spectacular spectacle in the landscape is created by magnificent, brilliant, deep purple flower columns that are supported by long study stems. Excellent and durable cut flowers. 

Most ordinary well-drained soils make it simple to grow in. To develop a deep, widespread root system, stick to a regular watering plan during the first growing season. As a plant becomes older, watering can be decreased. Before new growth starts in the spring, fertilize with a general-purpose fertilizer.
