Gorgeous Toad Lily
Beautiful, large healthy plant! My toad lily arrived heavy with buds and bloomed within a couple weeks of planting.
'Miyazaki' is one of the highest rated Tricyrtis varieties by the Chicago Botanic Garden for its heavy flowering and robust habit. Rich green lance-shaped leaves appear in an attractive ladder-like arrangement. Hairy, arched stems hold up beautiful orchid-like flowers that are white and speckled with purple. The fascinating flowers appear at just the perfect time when the rest of the garden is starting to slow. Toad Lilies are a staff favorite here!
Uses: Borders, Containers, Cottage Gardens, Cut Flower, Landscapes, Mass Planting, Woodland Gardens

Homeowner Growing Tips: Plant where the details of the flowers can be seen up close. Grow in full or partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil; do not allow to dry out. Amend with compost before planting. Mulch for the winter in cold climates. Divide in early spring before growth resumes, if needed. Sprouts late, so you may want to mark where you plant these.
