  • Ferny, golden foliage provides an exotic look to plantings
  • Yellow button-like flowers attract butterflies & other pollinators
  • Easy to grow & durable in most gardens

Striking yellow fern-like foliage makes for a dramatic addition to the landscape. Excellent color that goes well with almost any plant. Small, yellow, flat flowers appear in mid to late summer, which are not particularly showy; however, the colorful foliage definitely attracts attention and is also fragrant. Tansy is also deer resistant and the leaves look great in floral arrangements. Formerly known as Chrysanthemum vulgare. Brighten up your flowerbeds with a splash of 'Isla Gold'!

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in full sun, or partial shade in hot southern climates, in well-drained, preferably sandy soil. Tolerant of many soil types, except wet & heavy soils. Cut back as flowers fade to encourage rebloom. Cut spent foliage to the ground in late winter. Divide in spring, if needed.

This plant makes a lovely chartreuse accent and the deer don’t touch it. It has sweet little yellow flowers that are great in arrangements. Only con is it tends to flop so needs some staking as it gets larger.
