A non-stop bloomer, Spirea 'Double Play Doozie®' is not your typical spirea. It produces tons of purple-red flowers that blossom in the spring and don't stop! The flowers compliment the rich green leaves nicley. Foliage emerges dark red in the spring and then change to green as they mature. The other great thing about this plant is that it does not set seed, so it is non-invasive! This means it can focus all its power on making these gorgeous blooms all summer long.

This lovely spirea has been a delight all summer long - continual, brilliant flowers, with green/burgundy foliage. It arrived healthy and immediately adjusted to its new garden bed.
