  • Cheerful, bright pink flowers cover this plant early in summer
  • Low, mounding habit makes a superb groundcover
  • A fine choice for a splash of color at the front of a sunny border

Beautiful pink flowers are in abundance in early summer and make quite an impact. The simple, lance-shaped leaves are a rich green color and are semi-evergreen. It is deer resistant and attracts hummingbirds, as well as butterflies. The sap of its roots has been made into laundry soap since old-timey days! We just love the eye-catching color of this heavy bloomer.

Uses: Beds, Borders, Cottage Gardens, Containers, Edging, Groundcover, Rock Gardens
Nature Attraction: Butterflies, Hummingbirds
Critter Resistance: Deer
Notable Features: Sap of Roots Used to Make Soap

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in full sun, in well-drained soil. Does best in regions with cool night temperatures. After blooming, cut the plant back by half to keep tidy and promote additional flowers.
