Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in full sun, preferably, or with partial shade in southern locations. Provide moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil; amend with compost before planting. Removing faded flowers helps to encourage repeat blooming; or you can simply cut the whole plant back hard after flowering is complete. In spring, cut back to 3" high & apply a balanced granular fertilizer.
