  • Very colorful perennial for the woodland garden
  • Blue flowers from spring into summer
  • Variegated leaves make a great contrast to green foliage plants

Excellent plant with a low mounding habit. Pink flower buds open up to vibrant flowers that are shades of blue in the spring. The foliage is lacy, fine, and green with thin white margins. Deadheading can be done to encourage rebloom. It is also deer resistant. Perfect plant to bring color to shady areas. A sport of Polemonium 'Heavenly Habit'. Native to the eastern U.S.

Uses: Beds, Borders, Cottage Gardens, Cut Flower, Landscapes, Naturalizing, Woodland Gardens
Nature Attraction: Bees, Butterflies
Critter Resistance: Deer, Rabbits
Notable Features: Fragrant flowers
Growth Habit: Upright

Homeowner Growing Tips: Polemonium does best in cool, moist climates, and should be grown in full sun to partial shade in the North, or full to partial shade in the South. It prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soil. After flowering, cut the plant back by 1/3 to stimulate re-bloom.
