A great dwarf variety with balloon-shaped buds that pop open into bell-shaped flowers that are a delicate pink. The flowers are single and are above the simple blue-green leaves. It is an easy-going plant that has no real pest or disease problems making it an excellent addition to the garden.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in sun or partial shade. Balloon flowers prefer fertile, moist, well-drained, loamy soil. Amend with compost before planting. Established plants resent transplanting. Deadhead after flowering. New stems emerge late in spring, so leave old stems in place through winter until new growth appears.

    Just love this plant, and it is doing really well in my garden. I have to comment on how you package them because it is amazing. You put so much care into how the plants are packaged and shipped. They always arrive in great condition. I have ordered from other nurseries, and their plants are never packaged with so much thought and care. Great job, and I will order from you if the plant that I want is available.

    Plants arrived on time and very well packaged. Plants arrived healthy, in beautiful condition, some were already blooming. Planted them and they are doing great. I would buy from Romence again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful plants from a company that has great customer service.

    The platycodon arrived in exceptionally good condition. The plants themselves were robust and they had been packed better than any of the many orders from other sources that I have received over the years.
    Alas, the platycocon were planted in a client's garden from which I have been barred since because of the pandemic. I wish that I could say more and give a higher rating, but haven't seen how the plants fared.
