  • Delicate pink flowers in early summer
  • Excellent as cut flowers
  • Very popular here at our greenhouse

Gorgeous pink flowers are atop wiry, pubescent stems. The flowers have a satiny texture and are crepe-like. They have a dark, velvety seed capsule that is surrounded by dark purple stamens. Hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers and it is deer and rabbit resistant. It is an extremely showy plant that will attract attention in the garden.

Uses: Borders, Cut Flower
Nature Attraction: Hummingbirds
Critter Resistance: Deer, Rabbit

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in full sun, in well-drained, fertile soil. Amend with compost before planting. Iceland Poppies do best in cool climates; in hot, humid southern climates, they require partial shade and may not live as long. May re-seed.
