Water new plantings regularly to establish. Thereafter, do not allow plants to dry out in summer. Deadhead after flowering for rebloom. In early spring, cut old foliage to the ground; divide every 3-4 years at this time, if desired. Apply a balanced all-purpose fertilizer (e.g., 10-10-10) in spring when growth resumes.
