Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light'
(1)
Pot Size: 5.25 Inch Square Pot
Miscanthus x giganteus will make a bold statement in the garden with its large upright clumps of wide, arching foliage. By autumn, the flower stalks rise to over 10 feet tall. The pink plumes gradually change to silver as they age. Giant Silver Grass gives a very tropical, exotic look to the landscape. Although it grows fast vertically, it is a slow-spreading plant that is sterile and non-invasive. A naturally occurring triploid hybrid of Miscanthus sinensis x M. sacchariflorus.
Uses: Borders, Cut Flower, Landscapes, Mass Plantings, Rain Garden, Screening, Specimen
Critter Resistance: Deer
Notable Features: Salt tolerant; Blooms: Fall, Winter
Homeowner Growing Tips: A very adaptable plant, and tolerant of most conditions, but prefers full sun and moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Does not require supplemental fertilizing. Some shade may be appreciated in hot climates. Cut close to the ground in late winter. This is also the time to divide, if necessary.

Bought 6 plants in the Spring. Well packaged and healthy. About 1 ft. tall then. Over the summer, now 4 ft. In height. Will make a great privacy screen, staff was awesome with description and tips. Would buy again without hesitation.
