  • Tall rounded clumps are nice for mixed borders, or to screen a patio
  • Great fall color & winter interest

Stunning grass with soft plume-like silvery-white flowers that appear in late summer. They are held above the foliage and look very graceful blowing in the wind. The foliage is green, thin, upright, and arching. In the fall it turns a beautiful copper-red color. It is also deer resistant. A fantastic plant that will quickly be a permanent fixture in the garden.

Height: 5-6 feet
Spread: 3-4 feet

Uses: Borders, Cut Flower, Landscapes, Mass Plantings, Rain Garden, Screening, Specimen
Critter Resistance: Deer
Notable Features: Bloom: Fall, Winter

Homeowner Growing Tips: A very adaptable plant, and tolerant of most conditions, but prefers full sun and moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Some shade may be appreciated in hot climates. Cut close to the ground in late winter. This is also the time to divide, if necessary.

  • Beautiful, healthy grass

I ordered 3 of these plants and they came perfectly timed, in good health and packaged beautifully. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of Romence Gardens plants. These are already planted and doing quite well. They’ve already grown substantially in a few short weeks.

  • Nice. Still young.

It looks good, it’s just still young and it will take time to grow and fill out. But it was delivered in excellent condition. Thank you
