A remarkable grass that has rich green foliage throughout the summer and then in the fall turns brilliant orange-reds and purples. Burgundy-tan flowers appear in late summer, then fade to white, which helps accent the color of the foliage. It is a great filler plant because of its size and form. An outstanding plant that has stunning fall color.

Homeowner Growing Tips: A very adaptable plant, and tolerant of most conditions, but prefers full sun and moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Water regularly to establish. Some shade and supplemental water in summer may be appreciated in hot climates. Cut close to the ground in late winter. This is also the time to divide, if necessary.
These plants grew to a height of 5 feet the first year and bloomed in September in spite of it being a hot and very dry summer VERY pleased with these plants. Looking forward to how high they will grow next year,
