Pennisetum Graceful Grasses® 'Sky Rocket'
Pot Size: 4.5 Inch Pot
Beautiful variegated foliage adds an interesting touch to the mint family. Mint has square stems and green, fragrant foliage. It is great with vegetables, in sauces, or in herbal teas. Freeze the leaves in ice cubes for a refreshing treat. Mint also aids digestion. Best planted in containers on its own, as it tends to spread and crowd out other plants and can spread in your yard or garden as well. To prevent crowding in a mixed herb pot, harvest often!

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in rich, moist soils. Keep in mind that mint spreads rapidly via underground rhizomes. In a container with other herbs, you will need to cut it back often so the other plants can compete, and plan ahead before planting it in the ground as spreading will likely need to be controlled. One of the best ways to grow mint is in a container of its own.
Since the deer eat everything I plant, I decided to try a mint garden. The plants arrived well packed and thriving. After a couple of weeks, they are flourishing and beautifully filled out.
