Mandevilla 'Giant Crimson' has very large, deep red flowers and a vigorous growth habit. Make sure to provide something for this vine to climb, and with a lot of sun this mandevilla will make a beautiful addition to the garden.

Nature Attraction: Hummingbirds
Growth Habit: Climbing Habit

Homeowner Growing Tips: This plant loves warmth and plenty of sunlight and is an easy grower in these conditions. Temperatures below 45°F will cause poor growth especially if the plant is outdoors, it is not cold tolerant.

The plant can be overwintered inside if protected from the cold, it is likely to go out of flower until the spring and may shed foliage to help it go through the winter. With the shortening day length in the fall long sprouts/shoots will grow, these can be trimmed lightly in the fall and they can also be trained on a support system. These shoots in the spring and summer will provide the flower buds for the next season flowers so do not remove or cut back hard in the spring.

Hello , this is a beautiful Crimson mandevilla green plant I got this year in May 2019, it did well but lost alot of leaves later in the summer , I had to cut it back , due to stems dying back and treating for insects also bad in the summer time , I hope that it will come back and start new growth next year , I don't know but I hope it comes back , I did contact Romence Gardens about it . Beautiful healthy plant you just got to learn how to maintain it and to keep it up , and yes I would order this plant again.
