  • Improved, more compact variety
  • Heavy bloomer
  • Earlier blooming than previous types

Beautiful two-toned pink and white flower spikes are on sturdy stems that shoot up above the foliage. The leaves are green, compound, and palmate. Flowers make stunning bouquets and feed hummingbirds, butterflies, and native bumblebees. They are also deer and rabbit resistant. A stunning plant that adds a lot of texture to the landscape. And did we mention that Lupines take nitrogen from the air and fix it in the soil? That means free fertilizer for your garden, so maybe try them amongst fruits and vegetables! Native to U.S.

Uses: Borders, Containers, Cottage Gardens, Flower Beds, Landscapes, Mass Planting, Naturalizing, Rock Gardens
Nature Attraction: Bees, Butterflies, Hummingbirds
Critter Resistance: Deer, Rabbit
Notable Features: Cut Flower, Salt Tolerant, Native
Growth Habit: Upright

Homeowner Growing Tips: Lupines thrive in rich, acidic, organic, sandy soils with good drainage and moderate moisture levels. Amend with compost and/or Canadian peat before planting. Lupines prefer cooler climates and benefit from a layer of mulch. Deadheading spent flowers will extend the bloom time where cooler climates allow and may also encourage repeat blooming.

As a lupin lover, this pink is a must have. Soft but showy in color. Absolutely love this variety and was even in bloom upon arrival. Currently going to seed, very healthy and happy plants from romence gardens.
