Homeowner Growing Tips: Oriental lilies prefer full sun with the base of the plant in shade. Grow in well-drained soil; amend with compost before planting, and mulch afterward. I got these last year 4/2021 and get them planted right away. They grew beautifully and then like magic had flowers all over them 1 day. The color is absolutely amazing and they by far are some of my favorite flowers I have ever owned. They came well packed and my husband even made a comment how he wasn't expecting the great shipping...we are in NE Indiana. I plan on ordering many more of these Samantha's along with this this year.
