Hydrangea rave
She came loaded with flowers and has been blooming ever since. Had some 100 degree heat and the flowers stayed. I have her in a mostly shady spot, under trees.
Hydrangea 'Let's Dance® Rave' is an excellent rebloomer with big, vibrant flowers. The blossoms can emerge as a rich violet-purple in more acidic soils or more pink in basic soils. The flowers bloom on old wood in early summer and then continues to make new flower buds throughout the summer as it grows.
Uses: Borders, Landscapes, Mass Planting
Notable Features: Cut Flower
Growth Habit: Mounding
Homeowner Growing Tips: Flower color will change depending on the pH of the soil. To get blue flowers the soil should be more acidic (we recommend mixing lots of Canadian peat moss into the soil before planting); flowers will be pink in more alkaline soils. This Hydrangea flowers on both new and old wood. Best time to prune is early spring as growth resumes, removing only dead stems and tips. After it blooms, tips may be deadheaded, but complete pruning before August so that the flower buds can form prior to winter.
