Hibiscus SUMMERIFIC® 'Evening Rose'
Pot Size: 1 Gallon Pot
A smaller version of the beloved 'Summer Storm' Hibiscus is a great choice for gardeners who love the dark foliage of that variety but need it in a more manageable size. At 3' tall, 'Perfect Storm' will still be the centerpiece of your sunny garden, putting on an amazing show of 7" - 8" wide white flowers with a bright red eye and red veining reaching to petals' pink edges. U.S. native hybrid.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Keeping the plants well-watered will result in larger flowers and lush foliage. Deadhead to improve the appearance of the plant. Mulch for protection in winter. Cut back remaining stems to 3" - 4" in spring before new growth emerges. Hibiscus emerges late in spring, so don't be alarmed if you don't see it right away. It will grow quickly and soon make up for its late start. Apply a balanced fertilizer after growth begins. Watch for Japanese beetles that like to eat this plant.
This was the first time I ordered from Romence Gardens, and I am so pleased I did. My hibiscus arrived on time, healthy, carefully boxed, and in a large pot. It grew into a stunningly beautiful plant, with many, many blooms— exactly as pictured. ??
