Hibiscus SUMMERIFIC® 'Cherry Choco Latte'
- Calculated at Checkout
- Dazzling pink & white blooms that might be the largest in your garden
- Flowers from midsummer into autumn
- Compact plant that won't need staking
This brand new, long-blooming Hibiscus has a smaller stature, making it more suitable for tighter spaces. The large, 8"- 9" flowers are white to light pink with intense deep pink veins and a large red central eye. The attractive foliage is dark olive green with bronze highlights and forms a compact clump that becomes covered with the flowers in mid to late summer. This variety replaces 'Cherry Cheesecake' in the Proven Winners¨ lineup of Hibiscus because of its larger flowers with improved form, more pronounced coloration, and improved habit. U.S. native hybrid.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Keeping the plants well-watered will result in larger flowers and lush foliage. Deadhead to improve the appearance of the plant. Mulch for protection in winter. Cut back remaining stems to 3" - 4" in spring before new growth emerges. Hibiscus emerges late in spring, so don't be alarmed if you don't see it right away. It will grow quickly and soon make up for its late start. Apply a balanced fertilizer after growth begins. Watch for Japanese beetles that like to eat this plant.
