$18.99

Pot Size: 5.25 Inch Square Pot

  • One of the most intensely colored Heucherellas
  • White flowers float above the orange foliage in summer
  • Very tolerant of heat & humidity

Heucherella 'Sweet Tea' brings intense color to mixed beds or containers. The large leaves have a cinnamon center with a beautiful orange tea border that darkens in the summer and then lightens again in the fall. Use in the garden to give extended color and interest. This hybrid is a cross between two native plants, Heuchera (coral bells) and Tiarella (foamflower).

Uses: Borders, Containers, Cottage Gardens, Edging, Flower Beds, Groundcover, Landscapes, Mass Plantings, Naturalizing, Rock Gardens, Woodland Gardens
Nature Attraction: Hummingbirds
Critter Resistance: Deer
Notable Features: Evergreen
Growth Habit: Mounding

Homeowner Growing Tips: Foamy Bells requires light, fertile, moist, well-drained soil, which should be neutral to slightly acidic. Amend with compost before planting. Heucherella prefers slightly more moist conditions than Heuchera. Sun or partial shade is preferred, but tolerates full shade. May be divided every 3 years, in spring or autumn.

The were all beautiful just not for the heat in Florida. Even in the shade they died.
