Gigantic blossoms abound on Hemerocallis 'Primal Scream'. The flowers are 7 1/2" - 8 1/2" in size, are a brilliant gold-orange color, and have narrow, twisted, recurved tepals. Blossoms appear in mid-summer atop tall, graceful scapes that shoot above the green, arching foliage. This is a great daylily to have in the garden that will surely steal the show!

Once established, they are moderately drought tolerant. Provide ample sun & moisture to ensure optimum flowering. Apply granular fertilizer for flowering plants in spring, and a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-3 weeks through summer. Remove spent flower stalks & dead leaves on a regular basis. Divide every 3-5 years to maintain vigor.
