'Mahogany Snow' has deep red stems and green leaves with flowers that begin as pink buds and open to white with pink reverses. As the flowers mature they change to a mahogany pink color. Homeowner Growing Tips: Amend soil with compost; Hellebores prefer moist, well-drained soil. Mulch every autumn. In spring, as flower buds appear, any tired-looking foliage may be carefully trimmed away. Apply a slow-release fertilizer after flowering. May be slow to establish, but they are a long-lasting perennial & rarely require division. Plants will flower the first year.
