Uses: Borders, Containers, Cottage Gardens, Edging, Flower Beds, Ground Cover, Landscapes, Mass Plantings, Rock Gardens
Nature Attraction: Bees, Butterflies
Critter Resistance: Deer, Rabbit
Notable Features: Easy To Grow, Drought Tolerant
Growth Habit: Mounding
Homeowner Growing Tips: Cranesbill is generally an easy and adaptable plant. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and can tolerate periods of drought once established. Good in alkaline soils. If grown in too much shade the plant will become less compact and produce fewer flowers. If foliage begins to look ragged in late summer, trim it back; it will fill out again with new growth. Does not prefer southern climates with hot, humid summers.
