Delosperma WOW® Series 'Violet Wonder' is an excellent choice for rock gardens, containers, borders, and green roofs because of its nice mat-forming habit and superb durability. Loads of bright violet flowers with white centers cover the plant from summer into fall. The flowers open on sunny days and close again for the night. It has great drought tolerance once established. Great in sunny windowboxes or other hot spots where other flowers fail.

    I purchased two and planted them in large terra cotta pots to bring them inside the ingested barn for the winter, next to a south window. I added one bag of top soil to one bag of gravel to one bag of all purpose sand and a hefty helping of perlite. Can’t believe how much they’re blooming off that mix. Zone 6 Michigan
