Monarda Bee-You® 'Bee Pretty' is a wonderful addition to walkways, containers, and borders. It has glossy, green foliage. From early to late summer, an abundance of purple flowers top the sturdy stems.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun, preferably, or dappled shade. Avoid crowding. Plant in moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Amend with compost before planting. Water new plantings regularly to establish. Thereafter, do not allow plants to dry out in summer. Deadhead after flowering for rebloom. In early spring, cut old foliage to the ground; divide every 3-4 years at this time, if desired. Apply a balanced all-purpose fertilizer (e.g., 10-10-10) in spring when growth resumes.
