This is a low maintenance, easy-going plant that brings brilliant color to the shade garden. EverColor 'Everglow' forms a neat mound of green striped foliage. The leaves have an orange margin in fall, winter, and spring and then it turns cream in summer. This delightful sedge will add interest to shady gardens, pond or stream edges, or can be used to jazz up a combo pot or window box.

Homeowner Growing Tips: Grow in shade or partial sun. Prefers moist soil; tolerant of more sun if soil doesn't dry out. Use as groundcover or around ponds and streams. In northern areas where not evergreen, trim away browned foliage in early spring. Clumps may be divided in early spring, if necessary. Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in spring when growth resumes.
