I purchased a toucan canna from Belingrath Gardens in Alabama while I was visiting. It was so nice that I wanted to buy more in all other colors. I found them on line at Romence Gardens. All the ones that I purchased in pots came in in excellent shape and I immediately planted them. All of them are starting to flower. I am real happy with the purchase.
This plant arrived on time and in very healthy excellent condition. It is planted now and doing perfectly well. Very Pleased.
When I received this plant and it had only a single stem I was worried that it may not be the centerpiece I was hoping for in my planter. I had no reason to worry. As soon as it started to heat up this canna took off. It bloomed nonstop all season and expanded rapidly with about 8-10 shoots by the end of the season.
This has bloomed almost continuously since the beginning of summer.
Very vigorous plant.
Planted 3 of these bulbs in a large terra cotta pot in our evergreen bed. They grew to be the showcase of color this summer in that bed. Our neighbor was so very impressed! Will plant them again next summer.
