Pink Cascade II, like the other plants in the Cascade series, blooms from late summer to early October in expansive 12" arching panicles. Larger, puffier panicles make this variation superior to the original. Over the years, butterfly bushes have unquestionably earned their place in the garden. In the sweltering heat of the late summer, they joyfully bloom right when we need a breath of fresh air. You'll adore the butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds that swarm to their honey-scented blossoms, and their passive coloration and texture offers a lovely backdrop for perennials.

Uses: Borders, Cottage Gardens, Hedges, Landscapes, Screening, Specimen, Xeriscaping
Nature Attraction: Butterflies, Hummingbirds, Pollinators
Critter Resistance: Deer, Rabbits
Notable Features: Fragrant, Cut Flower, Drought Tolerant
Growth Habit: Mounding, Cascading

Homeowner Growing Tips: These prolific bloomers need to be grown in good soil or fertilized regularly to give them energy necessary to create all that sweet nectar. Water regularly during hot and dry weather to prevent wilting. Removing spent flower spikes will encourage more new blooms. Mulch in winter in northern climates. In spring, cut back to a 12" framework to encourage sturdy, vigorous new growth.
