Briza media, commonly referred to as quaking grass, is a stunning ornamental grass that tolerates nearly any type of soil. It is relatively low-maintenance and works perfectly for naturalizing a landscape. The seed heads dangle on very thin stems and move easily in the breeze, hence the name 'quaking grass.'
