- Tasty, edible flowers
- Leaves are best cooked, not eaten raw
Borage is an airy plant with wrinkly, long, oval leaves and beautiful blue flowers. This herb is grown for the edible flowers that add wonderful color to salads and soups. The leaves have a cucumber taste, but are not often used because of the thistle-like hairs.
