Bergenia 'Spring Fling'

Bergenia 'Spring Fling' has thick, evergreen, foliage that extends the seasonal interest. The cabbage-like foliage and pink flowers are a good ground cover for shady areas.  The leaves change to burgundy in the fall, winter, and spring. It adds excellent texture to containers, borders, along walkways, or in rock gardens.

Grows best in part sun/part shade, in well-drained soil amended with compost. Avoid hot spots and keep moist. Mulch in autumn; trim out dead leaves in spring. Divide every 3-5 years after blooming, to rejuvenate.
